The Stein and Moskowitz Buildings, designed for active seniors and qualified disabled adults, offer the amenities of modern luxury apartment living. An attractive glass enclosed promenade joins the lobbies of the Stein and Moskowitz buildings, where residents can enjoy sitting or visiting friends.

A mong the many standard features you will find in each apartment are:
  • wall-to-wall carpeting
  • individually-controlled heat and air conditioning
  • grab rails in the bathrooms
  • a fully-equipped kitchen
  • smoke detectors and sprinklers
  • an emergency-alert system monitored 24 hours a day by our on-site staff
Each resident participates in the mandatory six-day meal plan - at an additional cost - which provides the evening meal.

View of the Edwards Entrance

T he Edwards Building, designed to accommodate seniors who require partial assistance to live independently, sits adjacent to the Stein and Moskowitz buildings. Each of the 42 one-bedroom apartments provides:
  • a modern kitchenette
  • walk-in showers
  • grab rails
  • smoke detectors and sprinklers
  • an emergency-alert system monitored 24 hours a day by our on-site staff
  • weekly laundry and housekeeping
  • assistance with transportation and other limited personal services

Three meals are provided daily and a medication administration program is available at an additional fee.  Subsidies and services are available through the Maryland Department of Aging's Congregate Housing Service program.  Meals are subsidized by the Montgomery County Senior Nutrition Program.
